A binocular microscope eliminates this problem! They can keep both eyes open and easily enjoy the view. This is a wonderful beginning microscope that children can easily use at home, for a very affordable price. The eyepieces are 10X and the objective lens is 2X to make a total of 20X magnification.
There is a 3V light to illuminate the specimen. It takes 2 AA batteries that you will need to provide.
