If you prefer fluffy slime over gooey slime, this is the recipe you want. Super fun - works good as an anti-stress ball.
What you need:
Water
Borax
Glue
Shaving Cream
Foaming Hand Soap
Liquid Hand Soap
Lotion
Food Coloring
Mixing Bowl
Stirring Spoons
Measuring Cup
How to do it:
1. Pour a cup of glue in your bowl.
2. Add a cup of shaving cream and a cup of the foaming soap.
3. Mix it well and add a few drops of food coloring.
4. Add about a tablespoon of liquid soap and about a tablespoon of lotion.
5. In a separate container, add a teaspoon of Borax to 1 cup of warm water.
6. Add a few teaspoons of this to the bowl and mix. If sticky, add a teaspoon at a time of the Borax solution to your mixture until you like the consistency. Be careful not to add too much Borax or your slime will become hard instead of stretchy.
7. Enjoy! Store it in an airtight container between use for many days of fun.
Science Fair Project Ideas:
You can try many different mixture combinations to make different slime consistencies and record your results.
Have fun with your new homemade toy!
